When to stop eating dairy?
If you are on carnivore diet, you already eliminated so many different food groups. And if you are still haven’t achieved optimal health, you may have to eliminate one more food group: dairy.
Here are five circumstances you may want to consider cutting out dairy from your diet (carnivore or not)
AUTOIMMUNITY
Rarely, do I come across people who tackled autoimmunity successfully without giving up of dairy. In my experience, if you eliminate dairy, reversing of autoimmunity becomes faster and better. Especially, if your health issues involve joints, dairy is a major culprit. Whatever your condition may be, if your joints are aching, get rid of dairy and see what happens. I am quite confident, in relatively short amount of time, you will notice a major improvement.
SKIN ISSUES
Closely related to autoimmunity are skin issues. I mean by this that both autoimmunity and skin problems have their root causes in the permeable gut (leaky gut). If you deal with acne, rashes, eczema, a very simple solution may be…to just stop eating dairy.
During my second pregnancy, my cravings prompted me to eat cheese. I only wanted feta, so added it and my joints were fine. Then, during postpartum, I continued small amounts of ricotta cheese, mainly finishing my first son’s breakfast. That was enough to give my newborn eczema on his cheeks and the chin. I immediately stopped eating dairy, and his eczema disappeared in about 10 days.
WEIGHT LOSS
So many people do great with weight loss when going keto or carnivore: pounds just come off. And then one gets stuck on the last 15 pounds. Especially conventional keto involves a lot of cheese, regular carnivore diet can be full of dairy as well. If you are struggling to get rid of the last 15 pounds of your weight, stop eating dairy and see your weight loss resume.

CANDIDA OVERGROWTH
If you have a history of candida overgrowth, tried all kind of detoxes, and are taking yet another wonder probiotic, maybe it’s time to eliminate dairy from your diet. Many people instinctively recognize they are dealing with candida: the white coating on the tongue, mental fog, fatigue, feeling bloated after eating, etc. If this is you, consider cutting dairy out of your diet and watch your gut microbiome improve.
PALEO-KETOGENIC DIET
If you want to be true to Paleo-Ketogenic Diet, you must eliminate dairy. Dairy isn’t even part of the maintenance version of the Paleo-Ketogenic Diet: you can add some fruit and root vegetables, but dairy is a hard no.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I know many of you love dairy, I do as well, actually I did. I used to be obsessed with it until I saw benefits to my body after I stopped eating it. I am on the quest to be in perfect health, if you are too, then perhaps not eating dairy will get you there too.
