Getting fresh, grass-fed meat directly from the farmer would be ideal. But if you are a working mom, this might be just too much time spent on acquiring healthy food. I live in Manhattan and I don’t have a car (quite typical for New Yorkers) and other means of traveling outside of the city aren’t time efficient or cost effective.
But as many of us shift to local and sustainable ways of obtaining our food, there are businesses that allow access to local farms without having to go to them directly. Recently, I found ButcherBox and now have my clean and sustainably raised meat delivered to my door.
If you want to try out ButcherBox for yourself or for your family, click on my link below and try out a subscription and get your first home delivered box. I would love to hear your feedback or maybe even your best recipes!
Clean and sustainably raised meat is an important health strategy for me and my family.
